Dirigido por Brian de Palma, Scarface (1983) é um dos mais famosos trabalhos do diretor e uma das mais marcantes atuações de Al Pacino. E finalmente a Universal Pictures anunciou para o dia 6 de setembro nos EUA e dia 05/09 no Reino Unido o Blu-ray do filme em edições simplesmente sensacionais. A começar pelo áudio em inglês em um inédito DTS-HD MA 7.1 e DTS 2.0 (trilha original estéreo) e a numerosa quantidade de extras:

A edição ainda inclui uma cópia digital e um DVD (que poderia muito bem ser em Blu também. Mancada da Universal) da versão de 1932.

US$ 699,99! (isso já com o desconto da Amazon). Aparentemente a edição por enquanto está disponível apenas nos EUA. Ainda não temos imagens da edição americana, mas assim que elas estiverem disponíveis, informaremos a vocês.

Edição regular inglesa. Pela imagem aparentemente deverá ser enluvada.
Para quem não pode/quer gastar apequena fortuna do umidor dos EUA será lançada no Reino Unido uma edição especial também em forma de caixa de charuto BEM mais em conta (44,99 libras por enquanto):
A caixa (feita de madeira) inclui além do BD em steelbook um livreto, um grampo de dinheiro e um envelope com 1 nota de dólar do Tony Montana, cards e e um greencard.
Em relação às legendas não sou otimista em relação ao BD americano. Como é de praxe apenas legendas em inglês, francês e espanhol foram anunciadas. E deve ficar nisso mesmo. Já o BD britânico como também é de costume chuto legendas em português de Portugal. Vamos ficar no aguardo… E vamos torcer também para que a imagem seja de extrema qualidade. Não adianta nada uma embalagem de luxo se a imagem ficar uma porcaria. Capricha aí Universal!
